It is highly encouraged to give treats up to one hour prior to a meal or two hours after a meal in order to encourage the best absorption by the body. The following amounts are based on the weight of the dog and can be administered twice per day in these recommended doses:
SMALL BREED:
1 to 10 lbs - 1 treat up to 2x per day
11 to 20 lbs - 1 to 2 treats up to 2x per day
21 to 30 lbs - 2 to 3 treats up to 2x per day
31 to 40 lbs - 3 to 4 treats up to 2x per day
